3rd party SIP Phones

Problem Details

Do not use in the PBX names with space. If for example you define a user having an IP200 Phone “Joe Smith” and a second one using a Grandstream named “Walter Alessi” the result well is that the Grandstream can call the IP200, but the IP200 not the Grandstream set. Even two Grandstream cannot call each other. A wireshark trace will even give wrong message like “Sip version not supported”.

The reason of all that is the space, not correct supported from many 3rd party products.

The problem can be solved changing all names in the PBX eliminating all spaces, so in our example “Joe Smith” in “Joe_Smith”.
