Howto:How to connect a standard headset to an IP230
The new IP230 features a new standardized headset interface (called DHSG) that allows to accept and terminate calls directly from the headset (remote hook-switch).

Modern wireless (such as Bluetooth or DECT based) headsets connected to the IP230 then allow to use this nice feature.
However, traditional, cable based headsets do not support remote hook-switch (of course).
Plantronics information
To connect such non-DHSG plantronics headsets to the IP230, a special cable "U10P-S19; Bestell-Nr. PN 38340-01" is required.

GN Netcom information
To connect such non-DHSG GN Netcom headsets to the IP230, a special cable "8800-00-88" is required.

VXI information
To connect such non-DHSG VXI headsets to the IP230, a special cable is required.
