Configuration Message Waiting Key

innovaphone phones support RFC 3842 which defines SIP based message waiting procedure.

This enables definition and use of message waiting function key and lamp to access FritzBox-built-in voicemail service.

By default, FritzBox-VM owns number **600. Any further described configuration assume this as default. If this is changed by user or manufacturer, configuration below has to be adapted.

Control of MWI-LED and voicemail access via function key requires definition of both number and name as follows:

  • Number: <FritzBox-VM>@fritz.box - default **600@fritz.box ; do NOT tick Append Own Number
  • Name: <username>@fritz.box
