The decision for a test setup based on the location concept and containing different nodes, was made mainly to test the abbility of the billing software to handle external and internal calls from different locations.

Minor Bugs

  • Mida-Rec: Operator-ID(phone number) does not reflect the membership to a node(important at overlapping dialing plans) - will be fixed in next Mida i-Suite release
  • Mida Billing: differentiation of physical interfaces by originating ip-address or location is not possible - will be fixed in next Mida i-Suite release
  • Mida Billing: phone number does not reflect the membership to a node(important at overlapping dialing plans) - will be fixed in next Mida i-Suite release

Summary

Mida IVR / Automated Attendant / Queue Manager

  • easy to use
  • only basic functionality. Additional functions will be customized and implemented by Mida, depending on the customer
  • scalable by using submenues.
  • caller has the option to use DTMF signals or voice recognition for the extension input
  • comparable to innovaphone's Waitingqueue object, but with more features

MidaRec

  • easy to configure
  • simple but straightforward voice recording solution

Mida Billing

  • simple to be configured, current version is suitable for deployments involving a single voice gateways
