Howto:RJ11 telephone jack pin assignement for the IP21 in Switzerland

The pin assignment for the RJ11 telephone ports of the international IP21 is 3 and 4. Although there is no real accepted standard for the RJ11 pin assignment for analogue phones, pretty much all over the world, pins 3 and 4 are used.

However, in some countries different pin assignments are used such as pins 2 and 3 in Switzerland. Unfortunately, there is no special adapter available so a special cable must be crimped individually.
