System description

Description

The TeMeno Alarmserver MeNoDigital allows you to spread voice and/or text messages with the help of internal and external voice and data networks. This is especially useful when standard information must be transferred quickly to a specific target group - such as alarm- and fault-messages in case of fire or emergency, nurse calls in hospitals or error messages that indicate a building manager technical action in building management systems.

MeNoDigital acts as a central link between the building or person on one side and the telecommunications world on the other side: All incoming messages are recorded, processed and forwarded as a text or voice message within seconds of pre-defined recipients. To this end, the server uses existing phones, like standard-, DECT or mobile phones.

All operations are logged in detail and are on the network at all times ready for further processing. Depending on the application and individual requirements are additional hardware modules and interfaces available to extend the functionality. The same applies to a variety of available software modules that can be installed and activated following your needs.

System overview

MeNoDigital Alarmserver is based on four elements:

Alarm

The digital alarm server type MeNoDigital uses the internal and external infrastructure of voice and data networks for rapid distribution of text and voice information. The basic functions are: large areas alarming, broadcast and emergency alarms and teleconferences.

Alarm

The base module includes:

  • Detailed logging of all events
  • Query via WEB browser on the network
  • Export of subscribers as CSV and in Excel format
  • Enter and manage any number of participants
  • Any number of alarm groups be set up
  • Any number of receivers groups be set up
  • Alarm via voice and text
  • Free assignment of announcements, each target can be assigned with a separate announcement
  • Adjustable call parameters:
    • Call duration, call number, ringing pauses
    • alarm delay
    • repeat alarm

More features

Ad hoc alert

With this module, it is possible, for example, to alert certain groups of people, a team of doctors with a currently-spoken announcement via the telephone or a building to evacuate quickly in fire or bomb threat.

SMS via Mobile Networks

Simple sending SMS messages

SMS as Flash Send (SMS messages are directly on the display)

Status Report with Valid Period on the delivery of the SMS (the program will be informed when the SMS message has arrived at the mobile phone)

Client management This software module enables the division of MeNoDigital dataset such as alarms, actions and participants in multiple logical units, so that a WEB client can only view and edit the relevant data.

This feature also enables the clear display of large datasets.

There are any number of client groups and participants possible in a client list.

Time-dependent alerting

Alerting - broadcast with validity for different day / night service variants.

Certain target groups, for example, nursing stations can be differently generated in each set time. Valid for PBX-connection / DECT, network and other optical display modules.

Alarm via e-mail (input)

At regular intervals, the alarm server checks the e-mail server whether messages have been received. If, for example, a fault message is activated the alarm server send a corresponding alarm broadcast. The e-mail server must provide the Pop 3 protocol.

Protocol dispatch or alerting via e-mail

using pre-configured text modules.

Prerequisite is an existing e - mail server with SMTP - protocol.

Protocol sent by fax

Once an alarm action or a broadcast is done, the alarm log is sent as a PDF file automatically to one or more fax connections.

Dialing / Pre-dialing

This feature can be initiated or stopped alerts / broadcasts by dialing / key figure (in Dial).

Also SIG can contacts be set and reset.

Call acknowledgment (alarm-broadcast)

With this feature an alarm call, or emergency call is acknowledged by code input on the phone via PIN. The person concerned acknowledged the call is then also identified detectable with this function.

Alarm status

This software module can be a person, for example, one of a team of doctors, acknowledge an alert broadcast from entrained DECT phone or return a status message.

Per key input are up to 10 different messages available, such as: "I'm immediately there" or "do not come"

Escalation

If a minimum number of participants of a group is reached, the alarm is stopped.

Otherwise, a broadcast for the next alarm group is started after an adjustable time.

WEB alarm panel

With the WEB control panel alarms and conferences can be triggered or started via the web browser on a user PC.

Contact module

For connection of contacts free of potential is the SIG-Contact module available.

The module is suitable for DIN rail / Rack mounting and in steps of 5 endlessly expandable. Furthermore, the outputs of the modules can be used as described below.

Remote control contact outputs

with SIG modules.

This makes it possible, for Example, turn on audible and visual signaling device or to control Doors. The acoustic signal generator can be included with the phone alerting or driven separately or switched.

First, a new trunk object must be created under PBX :: Objects. Relevant settings are highlighted in red.

Trunk Object

If a dial-in to the alarm server is necessary a number must be assigned, here as an example 82.

As a next step, a SIP trunk must be configured under Gateway :: SIP. The access data (Username and Password) must match the trunk object settings. Relevant settings are highlighted in red.

SIP Trunk

The IP address of the alarm server must be used as remote domain and proxy.

As a final step, a route must be entered, which is done under Gateway :: Routes.
