Wake-up calls often comprise the following features

  • A call can be scheduled by a user at a certain time
  • A call can be scheduled by some authorized user on behalf of another user at a certain time (receptionist)
  • Call scheduling can be done using a voice (IVR) application
  • Call scheduling can be done using a phone menu/function key
  • Call scheduling can be done by a separate software (often part of a hotel suite)

innovaphone does not support wake-up calls natively. However, there are some 3rd party applications, that can implement some of those features

Telcen HotelPro

A software suite based on Telcen's billing solution . Targeted to smaller Hotel installations (less th 100 rooms). Features wake-up calls (only set manually be receptionist) and room check-in/check-out. Uses an innovaphone TAPI extension for wake-up calls.

TCS SAMwin.HOT

An extension to TCS's SAMwin.CAS billing product. Features wake-up calls that can be set via IVR, as well as check-in/check-out.

Voxtron Axxium

Voxtron's rapid voice prototyping platform Axxium's IVR module has been used in various projects to implement wake-up and reminder-calls.
