General

It is necessary to configure the operating mode of the DECT system. A gatekeeper must also be specified here, on which the innovaphone PBX component is operated.

  • Mode: Active switches on the DECT master function. In every DECT system, there must be a DECT master.
    • Off switches off the DECT master function.
    • Active switches on the DECT master function.
    • Standby switches on the standby function for the DECT master.
      • Primary Master IP Address: The IP address of the DECT-Master has to be configured here.
    • Deployment switches on the deployment mode for the DECT master.
    • Mirror switches on the DECT mirror function. (You can use two mirrors, one goes automatically into the standby function).
      • Mirror Master: The IP address of the other DECT-Mirror has to be configured here.
      • Mirror Status: Show the current mirror operation mode

Multi-Master

  • Master ID: An unique ID for this Master. The DECT-Master and the DECT-Standby-Master must have the same ID.
  • Enable PARI Function: If this is ticked, the PARI function of this master is enabled.

IP-PBX

  • Protocol: The protocol to be used for the communication. There is a choice between:
    • H.323 with call signaling using TCP and RAS using UDP. H.323 is the recommended protocol for innovaphone VoIP devices, since it implements most features. (RFC 1889)
    • H.323/TCP with tunneling RAS over the signaling (H.460.17), so that only a single TCP connection is used.
    • H.323/TLS with tunneling RAS over the signaling (H.460.17) and signaling using TLS.
    • SIP/UDP SIP signaling using UDP as transport protocol (RFC 3261).
    • SIP/TCP SIP signaling using TCP as transport protocol (RFC 3261).
    • SIP/TLS SIP signaling using TLS as transport protocol (RFC 3261).
  • GK: The IP address of the primary gatekeeper. The device on which the innovaphone PBX component is operated.
  • Alt GK: The IP address of the secondary, alternative gatekeeper.
  • GK ID: The gatekeeper ID of the gatekeeper to be used.
  • STUN Server: STUN server to be used if DECT master has no public ip address and SIP server is outside the local network.
  • Name for Authentication: Some SIP PBXs need authentication name different from the registration id. This enables the number being used as id and the name for authentication.
  • Registration with system password: If this is ticked, all users are registered with the system password. The term system password here corresponds to the PBX password at the PBX side. This option requires the option PBX Pwd at the User Objects Device Configuration to be active.
  • Redirection with GK ID: If enabled and the user registration is redirected, the GK ID of the redirecting PBX is appended to the registration to the redirected PBX.
  • Enbloc Dialing: If enabled, the dialed numbers will be sent together within the setup message after timeout.
  • Enable Enbloc Send-Key:
  • Send inband DTMF: If enabled, DTMF will be sent as inband DTMF.
  • Allow DTMF through RTP: If enabled, DTMF is negotiated according to RFC2833, resulting in DTMF digits being sent as RTP payload (RTP event). If the remote party does not support RFC2833, there will be fall back to DTMF over the signaling channel (SIP info).
  • Short disconnect tone: If enabled, the busy tone after remote hangs up is shortened.
  • Discard gatekeeper display info: If enabled, all display information from the gatekeeper are discarded. Some ISDN providers may send AoC via display information which can be suppressed with this option.
  • Treat rejected calls as: queries with which release code a rejected call should be terminated.

Registration for anonymous devices

The anonymous registered devices use this registration to make a call. (Normally handsets logged in as anonymous user cannot place calls, since they have no registration to the PBX. This includes also emergency calls. If a registration is entered here, all anonymous handsets use this registration for outbound calls.)

  • Deactivate Master if no connection: If the registration is configured but can not be established the master is turned off.

Conferencing Unit

With an innovaphone PBX device with a conference interface it is possible to make conference calls. The configured number is dialed for the first call to the conferencing unit, the connected number of this call is dialed for the others. See also 3pty conference on DECT phones.

Recording

  • Recording URL: The URL of a recording device if all calls should be recorded.

LDAP Directory Search

If enabled and a LDAP server is configured, the IP-DECT Master does an LDAP directory look up for incoming calls. Shows up the callers name on the DECT phones. This settings are NOT used for Directory Search for outgoing calls from DECT handsets, instead settings on Reference9:DECT2/Config/Phone Book used for this.

Mobility Master

The IP-DECT Master can be connected to a Mobility Master to enable roaming of the handsets between IP-DECT Systems that are connected to the same Mobility Master.

  • Name: The Mobility Master login name. Configure here the Name defined on the configuration page of the Mobility Master.
  • Password: The Mobility Master login password. Configure here the Password defined on the configuration page of the Mobility Master.
  • IP Address: The IP address of the Mobility Master.
  • Alt. IP Address: The IP address of the Standby Mobility Master.
  • Status: The status of the Mobility Master connection.
