The Fax App currently works only in the root node. More specific, for incoming calls it will search for users using numbers in root node context. E.g. if you have a Fax-object (e.g. number 9) and a User-object (e.g. number 20) both in a node different from the root node (e.g. node number 80), incoming fax calls will need to be directed to 98020 (in order for the Fax-App to find the corresponding user in the PBX).
* Selection of AudioFax is possible also for non-audiofax-capable devices
If possible, do not user the Fax-App for the moment in other nodes than the root - node. As a workaround for external calls, you can map incoming CDPNs to add the node prefix in the number.

The App Service Fax is an App Service which can be installed on an innovaphone App Platform. It provides sending or receiving FAX documents with the innovaphone PBX and an user app to manage the documents.

Applies To

  • innovaphone PBX from version 13r1

Features

The App Service Fax sends PDF documents as FAX documents and converts received FAX documents to PDF.
