In general, there are two different types of function key, each of which can assume the “idle state” or “active state”:

1. Function keys that are assigned to the telephone's display can be defined under the respective state with the Text or Icon parameters.

Text Here, you enter the text that is to be displayed beside the function key on the display. You can choose any text and you can use 18 characters per function key.

Icon Alternatively, an icon (symbol) can be displayed on the display. The assignment of the graphics to the names is given in the following table “Icon definition”.

2. Function keys that have a LED display can be assigned the following states:

  • Off/on
  • Blink
  • Flicker
