On the analog lines and on DECT handsets multiple features can be invoked by dialing feature codes. In general this has to be enabled by configuration so that it can be used. For all features a default for the invocation code is defined, but this default can be changed on a per system basis on the Reference9:Gateway/General page. The following features are available:

Contents

CFU activate/deactivate

These codes allow to activate and deactivate unconditional call forward for a given endpoint. For H.323 this call forwarding is set in the PBX using H.450 operations. For SIP the call forwarding is set locally.

The default codes are *21*$# to activate and #21# to deactivate. $ stands for the number to which calls are forwarded.

CFB activate/deactivate

These codes allow to activate and deactivate call forward on busy for a given endpoint. For H.323 this call forwarding is set in the PBX using H.450 operations. For SIP the call forwarding is set locally.

The default codes are *67*$# to activate and #67# to deactivate. $ stands for the number to which calls are forwarded.

CFNR activate/deactivate

These codes allow to activate and deactivate call forward on no response for a given endpoint. For H.323 this call forwarding is set in the PBX using H.450 operations. For SIP the call forwarding is set locally.

The default codes are *61*$# to activate and #61# to deactivate. $ stands for the number to which calls are forwarded.

Set Pin

This code allows to set a pin which can be used to lock/unlock the endpoint.

The default code for this is *99*$*$*$#. The $ stand for the three argument this feature code requires: The old pin and two times the new pin. The default for the pin is '0000'.

Lock/Unlock

These codes allow to Lock and Unlock the phone. If the phone is locked no calls can be made.

The default codes are *33*$# to lock and #33*$# to unlock. $ stands for the PIN.

Do not Disturb

These codes allow to turn on and off "Do not Disturb" for all calls. If "Do not Disturb" is on, all incoming calls are rejected with Cause "User Busy".

The default codes are *42# to turn on and #42# to turn off "Do not Disturb".

Do not Disturb internal calls

These codes allow to turn on and off "Do not Disturb" for internal calls. If "Do not Disturb" is on, all internal incoming calls are rejected with Cause "User Busy".

The default codes are *421# to turn on and #421# to turn off "Do not Disturb".

Do not Disturb external calls

These codes allow to turn on and off "Do not Disturb" for external calls. If "Do not Disturb" is on, all external incoming calls are rejected with Cause "User Busy".

The default codes are *422# to turn on and #422# to turn off "Do not Disturb".

Call Waiting

These codes allow to turn on and off "Call Waiting". If "Call Waiting" is on, an additional call is alerting to the calling user and is indicated inband with a call waiting tone. The waiting call can be accepted using R-2 or rejected using R-0. By default call waiting is off.

The default codes are *43# to turn on and #43# to turn off "Call Waiting".

Clear Local Settings

This code clears all locally stored settings. These are

  • Do not Disturb (internal/external)
  • CFU,CFB,CFNR if stored locally (SIP)
  • Call Waiting

The default code is *00#

Pickup Group

With this feature code any call which is ringing within the configured groups can be picked.

The default code is *0#

Pickup Directed

With this feature code a call which is ringing at a indicated extension number can be picked.

The default code is *0*$#. $ stands for the extension number from which the call shall be picked.

Park

These codes allow to park and unpark a call at the own extension number to a specified parking position.

The default code is *16$(1) to park and #16$(1) to unpark. $(1) stands for the single digit park position.

To dial the code for the park a consultation call has to be initiated with R (Flash).

Park To

These codes allow to park and unpark a call to a specified park position at an specified extension number.

The default code is *17$(1)$# to park and #17$(1)$# to unpark. $(1) stands for the one digit park position and $ for the extension number.

To dial the code for the park a consultation call has to be initiated with R (Flash).

Call Completion

This code has to be dialed to initiate call completion either in ringback state (CCNR, call completion no response) or when receiving a busy tone (CCB, call completion busy) preceeded by R.

The default code for call completion is 5 (only for old deprecated devices IP50, IP52, IP64 with IP1200 as base station).

Login User

As Unknown subscribed DECT handset can be assigned to a (PBX) User by using this feature code.

The code to login is *<master-id>*<extension>[*<AC>]#, where <master-id> is always 0 on IP1200 systems, <extension> is the users phone number and <AC> is the Global Access Code or User-specific Access Code.

Only subscribed DECT handsets listed under Reference:Administration/DECT/Unknown are able to use this feature code, so you have to subscribe the DECT handset to the DECT system first.

Note: the extension in above feature code refers to the user's node-local number (no node prefixes). This implies that in a multi-node installation, this feature code can not be used as it is not possible to select the desired extension in case of overlapping extensions.

Logout User

This code allows to logout the user on DECT phone. This means the user hasn't got a assigned phone and the phone is set as anonymously subscribed phone.

The default code is #11*<AC>#, where <AC> is as like "Login User" the Global Access Code or User-specific Access Code.

Local Clear of MWI

For interoperability with message centers which indicate activation of message waiting indication but no deactivation a number can be configured which when dialed locally clears the message waiting indication. Typically the number of the message center (e.g. voicemail system) is configured. This way when calling the message center (e.g. voicemail) to listen to the new messages the message waiting indication is cleared.

CLIR next Call

Calling Line Identification Restriction will be applied on next call.

The default code to use CLIR on next call *32# and to cancel this operation #32#.

CLIR on/off

Calling Line Identification Restriction it's enable/disable to hide own number.

The default code CLIR On is *33# and to CLIR off #33#
