More Information

By default, ENUM as per RFC 3761 uses the e164.arpa DNS domain to create the name for DNS lookup (i.e. as the root for all ENUM zones). However, organizations may choose to use their own privately managed zones, such as e164.innovaphone.com.

You can configure the ENUM domain root to be used by an Enum GW entry by adding a configuration option to the config file. This needs to be done manually by editing and re-uploading the config file or by using a !config change command. The option is /suffix domain, e.g.

config change RELAY0 GW5 /name ENUM%2FSIP /prot SIP /type enum ... /suffix e164.innovaphone.com

In the absence of a /suffix option, 164.arpa is used.
