The IP settings of the Linux Application Platform can be configured manually or can be assigned by a DHCP server from a certain Ethernet interface. The Ethernet interface which is used for DHCP must also be configured as DHCP client. To the right of the entry fields, the settings currently used are displayed.

Interface for DHCP: The Ethernet interface which is used for DHCP or disabled for manual configuration.
MAC Address for DHCP: The MAC address assigned to the network adapter.
IP Address: The IP address used by the network adapter.
Network Mask: The IP subnet mask used by the network adapter.
Default Gateway: The standard router used by the device.
DNS Server: The DNS server used by the device.
Alternate DNS Server: The alternate DNS server used by the device.
