In the Calls PBX overview page, all calls actively being made can be monitored. This is advantageous for diagnostic purposes in particular, since the existence of possible network problems, for example, is immediately visible (see Media).

Subscriber A:

  • Number: Display of the calling number. An 'R' indicates that the caller has activated CLIR.
  • Name: Display of the calling name.
  • Protocol: Display of the protocol used on the calling side. The protocol ist displayed in the format <protocol>:<mode>.
    • protocol is the negotiated protocol flavour. This can be
      • H323EFC - H.323 with extended fastconnect
      • H323FC - H.323 with fastconnect
      • H323/H245T - H.323 with H.245 tunneling
      • H323/H245 - H.323 with seperate H.245
      • SIP - SIP.
    • mode indicates the operating mode of the given protocol. This can be
      • TRANSIT - Media Negotiation is forwarded transparently
      • LOCAL - protocol entity acts as endpoint
      • REMOTE - media negotiation is translated to other protocol
      • RELAY - media relay is performed
      • PAUSE - protocol entity is in paused state.
  • Media: Display of the coder and further connection information used on the calling side, for example, G711A (2,0,0) x.
    • Coder
    • For voice coders the values in brackets have the following meaning:
      • Round trip (RT) = Transit time of a data packet from A to B and back again.
      • Jitter = Statistical variance of the RTP data packet interarrival time.
      • Packet loss (PL) = Number of lost packets (sent by subscriber A but not received by subscriber B).
    • For T.38 calls the values in brackets have a different meaning:
      • Pages = Number of transmitted pages.
      • Speed = Speed in bits/seconds for the fax highspeed data.
      • Loss = Number of lost packets (packet loss).
    • x = Encrypted connection.
    • s = to be defined.

Subscriber B:

  • Number: Display of the called number.
  • Name: Display of the called name.
  • Protocol:Mode: Display of the protocol and the mode used on the called side.
  • Media: Display of the coder used on the called side.

Overall:

  • Dir: In the Alerting state ">." and in the Connected state ">>"
  • Uptime: Time from the beginning of the call setup
  • State: Possible states: Alerting, Calling, Connected, Disconnecting. A lock behind the State indicates an encrypted connection.

Note: The cause of missing information in the column Protocol and Media during the state Connected may be due to an active callback
