However, after reading some technical specifications of different products, I believe that the best solution would be a wireless signaling system. A signalling system consists of two parts, a transmitter and a receiver. The sender has to register the incoming phonecall. (e.g. by using a microphone to accustically identify an incoming call) The transmitter sends a signal to the receiver (e.g. a lamp), which then will start flashing.

A more easy (and cheaper) solution is to connect a flashing box to a FXS port. Tiptel will introduce the "tiptel ergovoice 12 flash" which can flash and/or give a very loud (120dB) ringing signal. This device is specially fitted for people with impaired hearing.
The tiptel ergovoice 12 flash will be connected to the FXS port and on the tiptel ergovoice 12 flash your PSTN phone can be connected.
