The Pickup key offers the possibility to configure an "Audible Signal after alerting [sec]". By using the web-interface the volume of the pickup key cannot be changed. However in some cases users desire to change the volume of the notification.
In versions prior to v9, it was possible to change this as described in this article. This method doesn't work for the new series of IP phones (IP2x2, IP241).
Therefore, in v9, a new configuration setting can be used to adjust the pickup key notification volume. This new method works on all IP phones (also on older types like IP110 etc.).
config add PHONE SIG /notify-pickup-gain <gain>
The parameter <gain> allows values from 1 to 10. By default the IP2x2 and IP241 use 10 as gain value.
