v12 PBX can use the new Push-service, available at push.innovaphone.com instead of the old one at services.innovaphone.com. This is the desired configuration, since the new Push-service is more robust, as it has more hardware-resources available on our site.

Process to move an existing v12 PBX to the new push.innovaphone.com service

  1. If not already done, create a certificate for your IPVA. This is not needed for gateway-based PBXs
  2. Change than the Push-object URL from services.innovaphone.com to https://push.innovaphone.com/push/ws
  3. Check the General/Certificates section of your device and add to the Trust-List the certificate for *.innovaphone.com - it should be listed in the "Rejected certificates" section, since the first attempt to connect by HTTPS failed

Process to configure a v12 PBX with a new Push-Object for the new push.innovaphone.com service

  1. If not already done, create a certificate for your IPVA. This is not needed for gateway-based PBXs
  2. Create a new PBX object of type Push.
    1. The Name of the Push object is case-sensitive and will be used in the User objects to identify the push service.
    2. Set any password, it is not used for authentication but needed in the v12 PBX to start the websocket connection to the Push-URL
    3. Configure as Push-URL https://push.innovaphone.com/push/ws and click on OK
  3. Check the General/Certificates section of your device and add to the Trust-List the certificate for *.innovaphone.com - it should be listed in the "Rejected certificates" section, since the first attempt to connect by HTTPS failed

In both cases, the Push-object will now show as State connected and push-messages can be delivered.
