Description
The byon LineSelect App is designed for companies with teams or employees, that need to display different phone numbers for external calls. In the byon LineSelect Admin App, multiple lines with different phone numbers can be created and assigned to specific profiles. These profiles are then distributed to the employees. In the byon LineSelect User App the employees can select their required profile and change the outgoing phone number as needed.

Licensing
To access the full range of functions, licences must be obtained directly from byon GmbH. You are welcome to get in touch with us for a consultation and trial installation. Without a license it is possible to create ONE profile and test the functions.

Configuration
To use the byon LineSelect App, you need to install two Apps in innovaphone myApps from the PBX Manager:
1. byon LineSelect
2. byon LineSelect Admin
Select the byon LineSelect App in the PBX Manager to install it. Set the name and the right SIP to add it in your PBX.
Now complete this step for the byon LineSelect Admin App.
There are 4 tabs in the byon LineSelect Admin App:
Lines indicate the phone number for Outbound Calls. Here you can create new Lines for your specific requirements. Internal calls are not affected.
Important: You may only enter numbers that officially belong to you, otherwise you will be liable to prosecution!
Profiles are created to distribute them to your employees and the specific teams. The different lines created, can be assigned to the profiles. A profile can be assigned to multiple extensions.
In the tab Extensions you can find all your employees which are integrated in the PBX with their Number. Here you can assign the profiles to the right extension.
The settings are limited to an overview of your license status. You can see how many licenses you have and how many are in use. If you exceed the number of licenses you own, the last assigned extensions will lose the license. So be careful in distribution.
In the byon LineSelect User App employees can select the needed number for the outbound calls which are assigned to their profile. If no number is selected, the standard number is active.
