Reference12r2:Maintenance/Update

This function allows the update of the device. As default the update to the most current build of the current version is offered. Additionally other versions, including beta versions from the development may be offered.

For this function to work, the device must have https access to the public internet and a DNS server providing name resolution for public names must be configured.

The new firmware is downloaded direkty by the device from the innovaphone server. After successful update a reset must be initiated to start the new firmware.
