IP: No route through interface (Interface down)

The IP routing process failed to deliver a packet explicitely directed to a specific network interface. The network interface was either down or disabled. Packets directed to a specific network interface are used for example by DHCP (UDP) and by PPTP Tunnels (TCP/GRE). If this error is reported for UDP broadcast packets rather often it usually indicates that DHCP client mode is configured for the interface but not connected to the network or disabled. In this case the DHCP mode should be changed to disabled.
