Depending on device, this menu shows you whether a CF card is being used. Please note that the devices support the FAT32 format only. To be able to use the CF card properly, it must be formatted accordingly beforehand. The card can only be formatted if it is first unmounted' using the umount or remove button.

 Note
The card is only really unmounted if no folders or files are being accessed any more.
If, for example, voicemail that is on the CF card is accessed,
then the block and the subsequent formatting only take effect when the voicemail is no longer being accessed.

To transfer files to the CF card, the card must be connected as a network drive. This is only possible in a mounted state. Should the CF card be unmounted, it must be mounted using the mount button.

 Note
To be able to connect the CF card as a network drive, the following path must be used:
 "\\<IP address of the gateway>\DRIVE\CF0".
User and password correspond to the user and password as configured in chapter "Configuration/General/Admin".

The following buttons are available:

Mount/Umount

Mounts/unmounts the CF card. If the card is not mounted, it cannot be accessed. It can however be formatted or a checkdisk can be run. If there are open files or folders, the card won't be unmounted and the files/directories will be listed, so that the administrator can decide if an unmount with 'Remove' is secure.

Remove

Also unmounts the CF card if files or directories are currently opened. Necessary operations will be finished, so that there will be no data inconsistency, but e.g. log files will be closed.

Chkdisk

Checks the CF card for errors.

Format

Formats the CF card in the FAT32 format.
