It is necessary to configure the operating mode of the DECT system. A gatekeeper must also be specified here, on which the innovaphone PBX component is operated.
- Mode: Active switches on the DECT master function. In every DECT system, there must be a DECT master.
- Off switches off the DECT master function.
- Active switches on the DECT master function.
- Standby switches on the standby function for the DECT master.
- Primary Master IP Address: This field is only visible if this device has been configured as Standby-Master (Mode = Standby). The IP address of the DECT-Master has to be configured here.
- GK: The IP address of the primary gatekeeper. The device on which the innovaphone PBX component is operated.
- Alt GK: The IP address of the secondary, alternative gatekeeper.
- GK ID: The gatekeeper ID of the gatekeeper to be used.
- Prot: The protocol to be used for the communication. There is a choice between:
- H.323 (RFC 1889), which is the recommended protocol for innovaphone VoIP devices, since it implements most features.
- SIP (RFC 3261).
- STUN Server: STUN server to be used if DECT master has no public ip address and SIP server is outside the local network.
- Name for Authentication: Some SIP PBXs need authentication name different from the registration id. This enables the number being used as id and the name for authentication.
- Master ID: If this device is configured as master, the unique id of it can be configured here. This gives the possibility to register phones to a user on another DECT master in the case that in the radios has been configured multiple masters.
Example: A dect phone dials the number (e.g. 100) of a dect-user object (master1, id=1) to register in. If it exists another user (e.g. 101) on another master (master2, id=2) configured as an additional master in the radios, this user can get registered now by dialling *<master-id>*101 --> *2*101
