This page describes the PBX Manager Plugin of the Fax App. The plugin supports configuring the app service and adding, changing or deleting user client apps.
The app service provides the user Fax App:
- with a personal account.
- with a group account.
The first PBX fax object which can be created with this plugin is an app with a personal account.
Further objects are apps with a group account.
Fax interfaces are registered to the first object; the fax service creates or accepts calls with this object.

Change configuration
- PBX replication filter: The user data can be replicated only from one PBX. If more than one PBX connect to the app service, this filter is necessary to chose the right PBX with all user data.
SMTP configuration
Required data for outgoing emails
- Hostname: the host name from the SMTP server
- Server: resolvable DNS name of used smtp server
- User name: valid useraccount at smtp server
- Password: password of smtp-useraccount
- Sender address: email address of sender
- Sender name: name of sender

Add Fax Group app
Definition of a group fax app
- Name: Object long name
- SIP: Object name. No spaces are allowed according to the general name object properties
- Number: Object number to be dialled
- Configuration Templates: select configuration template to be applied for the group fax app object
Fax app
Definition of a personal fax app including interface selection
- Name: Object long name
- SIP: Object name. No special characters allowed such as spaces, underscore etc.
- Number: Object number to be prepended for fax calls
- Internat. fax number: printed in headline of fax document
- Company name: printed in headline of fax document
- FAX interface: selection of fax-capable-devices available in system
- Device name: name of fax-capable device as defined in DevicesApp
- Hardware ID: serial number/MAC of device
- Product: innovaphone device model
- Available channels: amount of offered fax-channels
- T.38 allowed: de/activate T.38 fax transmission
- Audio fax allowed: de/activate audiofax/G.711 transmission. Availablity depends on device type
- Channels app: not to be used
