Howto:M-net SIP Provider Compatibility Test
Innovaphone Compatibility Test Report
Summary
SIP Provider: Versatel
The provider supports all required innovaphone features and is therefore qualified as recommended SIP Provider.
That being said, the provider has achieved xx,xx% of all possible test points (153/160). For more information on the test rating, please refer to Test Description
The SIP Provider supports NAT Detection and does not require media-relay, by this making the SIP trunk usable in hosting scenarios. T.38 is also supported, a important feature if the innovaphone FAX server is also used.
SIP over TCP didn't worked correctly, a call was established but not disconnected properly. If Blind Transfer is used, the transferred party doesn't hear a dial-tone after the blind transfer is concluded.
Current test state
This product is being tested right now. The test is not yet completed.
Testing Enviroment
This scenario describes a setup where the PBX and phones are in a private network.
- the SIP trunk is configured without Media Relay and without exclusive coder. This is the case if all tests were successful

Configuration
Firmware version
All innovaphone devices use V10 sr2 as firmware.
SIP - Trunk
Note: Use the Reliability of Provisional Responses "Required" only to v10sr3 and higher, earlier versions should use "Supported" to avoid call failures.
Number Mapping
Route Settings
- Force Enblock it's required since overlap dialing it's not supported.
- MAP Settings are required for the CLIP No Screening Settings, PPI Information must go in International format.
Known Problems
- SIP over TCP - Not Supported, call is established but not disconnected properly.
- Overlap Sending - Not Supported, call ends with number not found.
- The use of Reliability of Provisional Responses -> Required is necessary on Reverse Negotiation with Early-Media calls, however we should use this option only for v10sr3,v9hf28 and higher version. Earlier versions should use this option as "Supported" to avoid calls to be disconnected due SIP signalling problem. If mode "Supported" is set no Dialing Tone will be heard when performing a blind transfer to external destination.
Test Call: inno1 calls inno2. inno2 blind transfers to sip-provider-phone. Result: inno1 doesn't hear the ringing tone before the sip-provider-phone answer the call.
