English: HowTo: Silent Pickup from a Waiting Queue

You can silently monitor a queue with a functionkey and pickup the calls there. You can do this with a pickup functionkey or a partner functionkey. The pickup functionkey can show me a list of all waiting calls from which I can choose. This functionkey requires active group membership and "Group Indications", this is very CPU-intensive. If only the caller who has been waiting for the longest time from the queue should be picked, you should use a partner functionkey here. Both options are presented here:

Waiting queue

Set up a queue with your name and number. Important: Activate the option "Operator connect for SOAP".

Users and groups

Set up a separate group for the functionkey. The user with the functionkey must be active in the group and (for the pickup functionkey) have selected “Group Indications” for this group in the user object. The object to be picked (the queue) must be passive in the group.

Pickup FunctionKey

Set up a pickup functionkey for the user. The idle state is the label on the key when it is inactive. When there is an incoming call, the caller's number and the destination number are displayed. It is therefore not necessary to label the "Active State". Enter the name of the group to be monitored.

Partner functionkey

Set up a partner functionkey for the user. The idle state is the label on the functionkey when it is inactive. With a WaintingQueue only the number has to be entered. "Group Indications" or group membership is not required for the partnerkey.
