Howto:What is the "Localized Articles" Area for?

The inno-wiki language

inno-wiki's lingua franca is English. That is, all publicly available articles are and shall be written in English. The reason is 2-folded and quite simple. a) English is the language the widest audience can benefit from and b) we don't have the bandwidth to translate and update translated copies of the articles.

So what is Localized Articles then?

This is an area where we as innovaphone will never post anything at all. Also, all users are strictly encouraged to post new articles within the normal Howto namespace in English.

However, some innophone partners may find it useful to publish articles that are written in the mother tongue of their clients. In these cases, partners may post into the Localized Articles area.

So why can't I find such articles when using the search box?

All these articles live in a special namespace that is by default not included within the standard search namespaces. To add this namespace, either tick it on the bottom of the search page or set it as default search namespace in your preferences (link on the top).

Who is responsible for these articles?

The sole responsibility for articles in the Localized Articles area is with the authors.

How to edit

Please be sure to include {{Template:3rd Party Input}} as first line into your article.

Also, such articles are permitted only in the Howto-localized: namespace, so their names must start with this string.

Finally, the name must end with a language designator in brackets such as (SF) for Finland or (D) for German.
