This function allows you to upload a new firmware version into the DRAM of the VoIP device. The new firmware is started immediately after upload.
The firmware loaded to DRAM is active until the next reset, power cycle or trap.
This function can be used to test new firmware.
Known Problems
If you use IP200A, IP230, IP240, IP302, IP305, IP22, IP24 or IP28 you have to set the unit into the Bootcode Mode. You can find the Bootcode Mode under the reset tab. If you did not set the bootcode mode, the device trap.
