When in idle mode, press keys '#' and '*' simultaniously, or '#' shortly followed by a '*' or vice versa. This will lock the keyboard input of the handset, indicated by the 'key' icon in the first display line.

To unlock use, the same key sequence.

On incoming call or message, the keyboard is temporarily unlocked until phone idle state reached again.
