Reference16r1:Apps/PbxManager/App Connector for WhatsApp

The Settings plugin for the Connector for WhatsApp allows you to create and configure the corresponding app object. In addition, the app object can be assigned to specific configuration templates (if available).

Add Connector for WhatsApp

Create a new PBX object for the Connector for WhatsApp.

Type whatsApp

Name

The Long Name of the PBX object

SIP

The Name of the object

Connect App

Select the Connect app that is associated with the Connector for WhatsApp.

Connect Moderator

Select the Moderator mode of the Connect app. If this mode is not available, open the Connect object in the Advanced UI and add moderator as a mode.

Phone PIN

The user must enter a 6-digit PIN. This PIN is not generated by the system. After creation, it is linked to your Phone Number ID. Afterwards you can start your onboarding as described in the Concept article.

Configuration

User Token

The user token generated by Meta is automatically stored in your configuration.

Mobile Number ID

The mobile phone number ID is assigned to you by Meta during the onboarding process. You can have up to 20 phone IDs, but verification by Meta is required.

App

Select the Connect app to process input/output from the connector. The selected app will receive incoming messages for the registered mobile number and be able to send messages from that number.

Zone

Select the Connect zone to which WhatsApp messages should be posted. The zone should correspond to the SIP ID of the Connector for WhatsApp object.

Connect Tags

Configure hashtags to be applied to messages posted via the Connector for WhatsApp.

Licensed

Select the Mobile Number ID to be licensed.

Whatsapp account information

Displays all relevant data used by the Connector for WhatsApp app.
