New IP73 handsets are shipped with preinstalled firmware version 7.0.3. When these devices are connected to a computer, WinPDM requires a login password before allowing access.
At this time, the required WinPDM login password is unknown. As a result:
- The handset cannot successfully connect to WinPDM
- Configuration changes cannot be made
- Firmware updates or downgrades are not possible
