Description
REDCOM-Conference is a powerful software extension for the GESAT REDCOM server, developed specifically for use in mobile and high-availability communication environments. The solution builds on the innovaphone suite and specifically extends existing terrestrial radio connections with a satellite-based link.
Through the integration of Eutelsat OneWeb, REDCOM-Conference enables a significant increase in the reliability and redundancy of the communications infrastructure. Even in remote operational areas or in the event of a failure of conventional networks, communications remain stable and available.
The solution allows a remote PBX to be operated directly in the field. This enables users not only to ensure basic voice communication but also to conduct telephone and video conferences with external participants in real time. This is of particular benefit to emergency services, crisis management teams or temporary infrastructure projects.

Summary
REDCOM-Conference extends the GESAT REDCOM server with a LEO satellite-based IP connection via Eutelsat OneWeb. The solution supplements terrestrial radio and IP links with a redundant, independent transmission path and enables the operation of a remote telecommunications infrastructure, including SIP telephony and audio/video conferencing in the field. It is designed for high-availability, mobile and safety-critical communication environments.
