Overview

The Documents App is a file storage app that is organized into individual directories and checks user permissions. In this version, it only provides a plugin app for other apps.

Configuration

Settings Plugin

An PBX app object is required that is permitted for users. The app object must have access to the Connect app.

Connect integration

The user must have access to the hidden Documents app.

Documents in Connect

Via the Includes icon, the Documents App can be used inside a connect post.
Now, the wanted documents can be either uploaded via the "+"-Button or via drag & drop.


In the following image you can find explanations for the usage of documents in connect.

1. If a connect post has documens attached, you will see the Includes icon.
2. The modification date indicates, when the last change of the attached file was made.
3. Clicking on the three dots will give you the option to delete, rename or download the attachment.
4. Clicking on the plugin symbol will show you a list of all attachments in a discussion on the top of connect. This makes it easier to find needed documents in a large discussion. To close this list, you have to click on the "X" in the right corner.
