Howto:DECT-Com base 4 u - Peltor - Testreport
Summary
Peltor DECT-Com is a wireless and full duplex intercom system for up to 4/8 users. Once connected to the base unit, the handsets are in a permanent full duplex conference.
It is possible to integrate Peltor DECT-Com into VoIP infrastructure by using innovaphones IP21-2 DOOR interface. Also Peltor DECT handsets equipped with PTT-button are able to initiate calls via ring button input on IP21.
Certification Status
The tests for this product have been completed.

Test Results
VoIP user was able to call into DECT conference with good voice quality. Also calls from Peltor DECT handsets to the number defined in the DOOR -> RD routes CDPN map by using PTT-button was possible, but no ringing tone was played to conference while alerting.

Peltor DECT-Com configuration
Its possible to adjust RX/TX level and VOX level of Peltor base unit by PC tool via serial connection(SERIO). The SERIO kit from Peltor was not available and was not tested. Probably if it is possible to change TX level of DECT-Com from default 245 mV to 1V, no soldering on IP21 is needed and pin 1(TX output) of Peltor can be connected directly to pin 11 of IP21 DOOR interface.
