With the Shared Services Plugin, Apps which are published as Shared Services can be added to the local myApps installation.

Access to a Shared Service is configured in Settings (formerly PBX Manager). This shows the app in myApps the same way as local apps. There, a directory lists all apps that can be added as Shared Services.

The foundation for Shared Services is the H.323 Federation mechanism. This ensures a secure connection between the app object (in your myApps environment) and the app service (in the external myApps environment). Additionally, it verifies the domain of the accessing myApps system. Therefore, a configured Federation with a valid certificate is a prerequisite for using Shared Services.

SIP URI

With the SIP URI a remote App, which is published as shared service can be address. It uses the format <app name>@<remote myApps domain>. Example: connect@community.innovaphone.com. With the ? Icon next to the SIP URI input field, a directory service for Shared Services can be opened.

The SIP URI for any shared service selected there is automatically put into this input field. The URL for the Shared Services directory can be configured in the PBX Advanced UI on the myApps page.
