More Information

Problem Details

We will shutdown our legacy push infrastructure (used in 12r2 / 13r1) on Monday the 04.03.2024 and switch the DNS-Record to our new push service located at push.innovaphone.com.
The new push service will continue to accept connections from older installations. However, email verification will no longer be possible for new installations.

On Monday the 04.03.2024 we will replace the DNS A-Record services.innovaphone.com -> 46.232.228.2 with the CNAME services.innovaphone.com -> push.innovaphone.com

To give you enough time for migration, we will continue to operate the DNS entry "services.innovaphone.com" until 31.12.2024.

This means for you:

  • We would like you to switch to the new push concept yourself at an early stage (like described below)
  • With the DNS switchover, existing configurations will continue to work until 31.12.2024.
  • You must have migrated your configuration until 31.12.2024, otherwise no push is working anymore

Unsecure connections are not available anymore

Please note that if you are currently using HTTP to connect to services.innovaphone.com, your push connections will no longer work from the day of the changeover. The HTTPS protocol must be used in the push object. For an automatic switch, you can simply add the "s" to the connection URL in your Push object.

ToDo: Migrate existing configurations

For the migration process, all existing configurations will be working until 31.12.2024 like described above. Please migrate your configuration before.

  1. If not already done, create a certificate for your IPVA. This is not needed for gateway-based PBXs
  2. Change the URL in the Push Object from https://services.innovaphone.com/push/ws to https://push.innovaphone.com/push/ws
  3. Check the General/Certificates section of your device and add to the Trust-List the certificate for *.innovaphone.com - it should be listed in the "Rejected certificates" section, since the first attempt to connect by HTTPS failed
  4. You can check the connecting state in the Push Object
  5. If exists, delete AP-Objects in your PBX which connect to services.innovaphone.com
