When an IP200 is operated with a headset, then the ringing tone will be heard in the headset. This can be annoying.
There is a configuration option available for the IP200 to disable this.
Configuration
To disable headset ringing, you need to use the /headset-ring <volume> option in the config file.
config change CODEC0 /headset-ring 0
It will disable headset ringing.
For IP200A models, the command line is
config change INCA_DSP /headset-ring 0
