This short document explains why the packet sniffer (e.g. Etherreal) recognises RTP packets with a TOS value of 0 although the TOS value has been set.

Known Problems

This is a Windows problem if TOS is disabled by default (Windows 2000). Please look for item 329794 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base and modify the registry entries accordingly.
