Howto:Upgrade pre-series IP72 to innovaphone's IP72 firmware

The first lot of IP72 was erroneously shipped with Ascom i75 firmware installed. This article describes procedure to upgrade the firmware to innovaphone's IP72 firmware via WLAN or USB interface.

Please note that standard Ascom i75 handsets cannot be upgraded to run IP72 firmware! Also, innovaphone IP72 handsets cannot be migrated to Ascom i75 firmware.

This information solely applies to early innovaphone IP72 handsets with Ascom firmware installed on it. It does not apply to standard Ascom i75 handsets.
