Howto:Recording in large PBXs
If a voice recorder works on large PBX the start-up time will be long and annoying and cause also heavy workload for both, the PC and the PBX.
From Build 1094 on it is possible to start-up the recorder very quickly even on huge PBX. Here is how.

More Information
Some customer operates a huge PBX (many hundreds of user) and record a relative small group of User. For example 1000 user in the PBX but there are just 5 Users to record.
Instead of reading out all the PBX it is possible to define the User to record in a simple text file. The recorder will detect if a file named “RECagentlist.txt” is in the directory where the log files are.
Note: Check the right directory following the link in the recording setup.
If such a file is found it will be opened and if at least one entry is found the User-to-record list will not be detected in the PBX but the recorder assumes that this file contains the name of the User to record.
Therefore in this file should be all the Long Names of the User to record.
The best way to setup this is open the text editor and copy from the PBX the Long names of the User in the file, one name each line.
Then save that file with the name “RECagentlist” in text format.
Note: In critical and/o complicated situations (like soft-migration) do not use the SOAP mode and not the file one.
