The configuration can be performed via the Web browser interface or directly via the IP telephone (albeit partially). This configuration can also be protected with a password or completely hidden:

  • Protect configuration at phone: Here, the configuration is password-protected.
  • Hide configuration at phone: In the Administration menu, everything apart from “Information” is hidden.
  • Hide private call information: The active user can view calls of other registrations, but the called number is not visible for the user.
  • Numbers for emergency calls: If the telephone is locked, a list of numbers to call, such as the number for the police or fire brigade, for example, is still enabled. You create this list here with separating commas.

The following functions are destined for special cases, which the administrator can define. The screens may be found in the innovaphone knowledgebase.

  • Fine grained function locking: Screen for functions to be locked in the telephone’s normal operating state.
  • Functions to lock via PIN: Screen for functions to be locked if the telephone is locked via a PIN.
