The early V6 firmware was not able to read the phonebook and call lists created on the phone with V5 firmware. For upgrade purpose an online converter was published on the innovaphone website.
Starting with V6 SR1, it is possible to upload a V5 phonedir to the V6 phone. Also there is an Update Tool for automated update of the phone firmware and configuration from V5 to V6 and later. Therefore, the online phonebook converter is no longer supported.
To update the V5 phone download the phonedir before upgrading the firmware to V6. After V6 upgrade, you will be able to upload the phonedir to the phone under Upload->Directory. Also take a look at Update Tool, useful to upgrade V5 including phone book and function key configuration.
