Howto:E-Fon - ADAPT - Provider Compatibility Test
Innovaphone Compatibility Test Report
Summary
SIP Provider: E-Fon
The provider supports all required innovaphone features and is therefore qualified as recommended SIP Provider.
All tests were made without use of Media-Relay neither Exclusive Coder, NAT Detection mechanism and SIP Reverse Media Negotiation work without problems. The SIP Provider supports Codec G722 and does transcoding so allow us to call to PSTN destinations with this coder what is not usual.
Redundancy it's not possible since the SIP Provider only allows one active registration per account at single time, if we register a second device it will replace the previous registration.
T.38 it's not supported as coder. Only G711 pass-through it's supported by the Provider.
CGPN Suppression (with SIP Privacy = id ) was not possible, however it's possible to suppress the CGPN if we send as prefix "*31" in the CDPN. In this case it's possible to create a special route that evaluate if the caller have Restricted CGPN and if so we add the prefix *31 to the dialed number.
That being said, the provider has achieved 89% of all possible test points (140/157). For more information on the test rating, please refer to Test Description

Configuration
Firmware version
All innovaphone devices use V1sr11 as firmware.
SIP - Trunk
Number Mapping
- Only one DDI was used for testing.
Route Settings
- Force Enblock it's Required.
- Special Route to handle Restricted Calls.
Known Limitations
- No T.38 since it's Rejected with SIP 488 Not Acceptable Here.
- SIP Privacy ID for CGPN Number suppression not supported, as solution we should do a Route that on case of R! we had as prefix to the CDPN the code *31.
- Use of SIP P-Asserted ID was not supported, we should leave the default method and send P-Preferred ID.
- Multiple registrations with the same account are not possible, a new registration replaces the previous one making not possible to do Redundancy with 2 Gateways.
