This article describes how to change phone menu language of innovaphone phones from default German to English or another language.

More Information
There are many ways to set language on IP110/IP200/IP230 phone:
- manually (via web interface)
- manually (phone menu)
- via DHCP-Server (running on innovaphone Gateway)
- via DHCP-Server (running on Microsoft Server)
Manual Configuration (via web interface)
Point your web browser to phones web interface (e.g. http://192.168.0.1). Go to "Configuration" -> "Registration 1" -> "Preferences" or on a V9 and later device to Reference9:Phone/User/Preferences and set "Language" dropdown box to you preferred language.
Since default language is German:
- Press "Menu"-Button
- Go to menu item "Nutzerliste" or "Nutzer"
- Press "->"-Button 3 times, till you see "Sprache: Deutsch"
- Set preferred language with "->"-Button
- Then press "Menu"-Button 2 times
- Select "Ja" and press "->"-Button

- Press "->"-Button 3 times, till you see "Sprache: Deutsch"
- Set preferred language with "->"-Button
- Then press "Speich"-Button 2 times

Configuration using DHCP vendor Options (using the innovaphone DHCP server Gateway)
Go to "Configuration" -> "ETH0" -> "DHCP-Server" and type eng into "Language"-Field.
