I used IP800 as a CPE at the customers home and Cisco AS5400 as central Gateway. If I configure T38 fax protocol on Cisco GW, the device asks me to specify ls_redundancy and hs_redundancy parameters.
Answer:
Please set both paramaters to 0 (no redundance). Especially data redundancy creates more traffic and might thus create more problems than it solves. Fax machines are using ECM which should help here.
