Reference:What are the Release Notes Documents?
This is the innovaphone development roadmap. It reflects innovaphone's current plans for new products and releases. Any information provided here is subject to change without notice. Any dates are very rough estimates.
The items in the roadmap are in order of the planned release date.
As of December 1, 2011 it is company policy not to define planned release dates for any new product or release more than 1 month in advance. Only estimates are given, which may be changed any time.
Support of USB headsets in IP2x2
Update of IP2x2 firmware to support USB headsets, to be released as Hotfix to version 9.
A release is estimated for Q1 2012
Operator version 9
Update to the innovaphone operator. The main new feature is a 'Busy Lamp Field', which allows the display of a user configurable set of users/phones.

myPBX office Integration
This release consists of two parts:
- Update for myPBX windows launcher. An implementation of the Microsoft office IM-Provider interface, which is used by Microsoft Office products to display presence information of contacts. Only Microsoft Office 2010 is supported.
- Service to update the presence information in the innovaphone PBX by calender information from Microsoft Exchange. This allows a user to set his presence status to absent for any appointment created in his personal calender. The subject of the appointment is shown as presence note
This update can be used together with innovaphone PBX version 9 or higher.
A release is estimated for Q1 or Q2 2012.
IP1202, IP-DECT based on Ascom
New IP-DECT base, which can be used together with new Ascom based Handsets.
A release is estimated for Q1 or Q2 2012.
IP62, WLAN Phone
WLAN phone based on Ascom i62 hardware. It will be released with innovaphone v9 Firmware, but Ascom User Interface. Upgrade to full innovaphone User Interface still to be decided
A release is estimated for Q2 or Q3 2012.
Fax Server
An application running on the innovaphone application platform, which makes use of the innovaphone PBX and innvaphone gateways. Faxes are received and forwarded to the users mail account as PDF attachment to a mail. A user may send Faxes by E-Mail to <number>@<configurable mail domain>. Communication to the mail server uses SMTP and POP3, so in theory any mail server can be used. With the first release only interoperability with Microsoft Exchange 2010 will be tested. The content of the sent Fax may be any attachment, which can be interpreted by OpenOffice.
This service can be used together with innovaphone PBX version 9 or higher

10 channel 5 BRI gateway as addition to the IP800 not as replacement.

Next major update for the innovaphone PBX and endpoints.

myPBX for Windows
Windows client which enhances the functionality of the IP2x2 phone series
- Video Sessions
- Collaboration sessions (application sharing)
- Flexible use of different media types within a single session (Audio, Instant messaging, Video, Collaboration)
- Call control for all sessions on the PC or the IP2x2 phone
- Access to PC local, phone or external directories
- Management of Presence information
- Integration of Web conferences
- Support for ad-hoc or planned multipart conferences

Expansion module for all IP2x2 phones.
