Because the old version of ASC's recording software "MARATHON VoIP Collector" is no more available, we test the new version ASC EVOip Active (only active recording is tested) with V9 Hotfix 7 and Hotfix 11.
We tested the new version ASC EVOip Active (only active recording was tested), since it replaces the ASC's "MARATHON VoIP Collector".
The phone which recording the call (i.e IP240) build up a three party converence call between the caller and ASC EVOip Active recording software. Therefore a "normal" three party converence between three phones is not possible, because the ASC recorder occupies one channel. In our Testszenario ASC EVOip runs under Windows Server 2003.


The Configuration with ASC DataManager 2.9 is simple (see under related Articles 06_EVOip_active_f_r_Innovaphone_d_V.pdf ), but unlike in this manual we recommend to register phones via H.323 and not SIP.
The test were successful and all required tests were passed. As a result the ASC EVOip Active recording solution is qualified as a [http://wiki.innovaphone.com/index.php?title=Howto:What_is_a_%223rd_Party_Product%22%3F Recommended Product]
ASC EVOip must be registered via SIP at the PBX (i.e. IP800) where the user-object of ASC EVOip is configured.


With ASC Webplay 10.0 we have tested the results of recorded calls.

Therefore a "normal"(using only the DSPs of the phone) three party conference between three phones is not possible, since the ASC recorder requires one DSP channel.
Start Time, End Time, Duration, Call direction, compression, Own Phone Number, Partner Phone Number and 3rd Party Phone Number where recorded. It's possible to download every single call as a zip file.


As you can see in the test results, we recommend strictly to update your PBX/Phones to Hotfix 11 or later. Otherwise anonymous calls can not be recorded.
